Here’s a recent Machinima I made about making virtual Harbin, – another case:
I enjoyed everyone’s uncomfortable reaction to Second Life yesterday. Here is how my group, OKAPI, along with faculty and students, use Second Life as a space to learn, experience, explore, and share research. This island is modeled to look like Catalhoyuk, a 9,000 year old archaeological site, which is currently being excavated. This virtual project is still happening as well.
